LOL Ruby T..... yep I act all tough but when it's time to go home and take them boots off I'm as sweet and mushy as a kitten! ~mew~ I think I might have split personality lol ..

if you were to describe your temperment, would you say that you are a pretty tough person or a crybaby?
do you wear your heart on your sleeve and tend to be emotional, or do you let things just bounce off of you?

i'm at work right now and i have been asked to help.
a jw patient will probably die during surgery if she does not accept blood.
to the best of my knowledge the hlc is not aware of her presence in hospital, and her non-jw family wants to know what she can have.. how does the family get in touch with the hlc in the area?
Acsot,
I had many thoughts like yours at meeting last night too.
They even said the HLC was only for baptized JW only. I thought what about studies that wanted to comply and had an emergency or dissfellowshipped ones? They didnt mention disfellowshipped people.
Im sure this is more about lawsuits unfortunately.
Had an old pioneer bro tell me years ago how so many people were suing The Society and that they were forced to make rules to avoid all the lawsuits.
If god is on your side why would that even matter?
What can you expect from a corporation anyway?
Ciao 4now,
U_R
Edited to say....This is Utopian_Raindrops....used my daughters nick by mistake!

when i was a kid, adults used to bore me to tears with their tedious diatribes about how hard things were when they were growing up; what with walking twenty-five miles to school every morning uphill both ways through year 'round blizzards carrying their younger siblings on their backs to their one-room schoolhouse where they maintained a straight-a average despite their full-time after-school job at the local textile mill where they worked for 35 cents an hour just to help keep their family from starving to death!
and i remember promising myself that when i grew up there was no way in hell i was going to lay that garbage on kids about how hard i had it and how easy they've got it!
now that i've reached the ripe old age of forty, i can't help but look around and notice.
hey Sirona that is ture but depending on the time period there was the Red Scare ...and there has always been the threat of nucular bomings!!! TIME TO DUCK AND COVER PEOPLE!!!!!!!
Breaks into song: Duck and cover Duck and cover...time to Duck and cover the bombs are comming DOWN!!!! Hands over your Head Keep low to the ground TIME TO DUCK AND COVER!!! THE BOMBS ARE COMMING DOWN!!!!!
